It’s no surprise that “Heroes,” “Spartacus” and various otherworldly TV shows rely heavily on CGI — but would you be shocked to find out that “Ugly Betty” depends just as much on green screen as that regenerating cheerleader show does? I certain found myself flabbergasted at the sheer number of mundane series that devote a large chunk of their budgets to post-production work.
Much of it is done by Stargate Studios, which compiled this before and after clip reel (via), to let you know just how fake the sky, buildings and streets are on your favorite shows!
