Secret City Films is producing a program for East Tennessee’s PBS affiliate called “TENNESSEE FILMMAKER”, and will begin airing in January of 2012.
The show will be a monthly one-hour program, and will feature interviews with area independent filmmakers. During the segment, film makers will have some of their films shown, and will talk about their process, experiences and lessons learned.
Keith McDaniel, Founder, Owner and Producer of Secret City Films, said “I think this will be a great venue to expose more of Tennessee to the creative and artistic folks in our filmmaking community”. He’s also said that this will give an opportunity to “promote the area’s film festivals and other film-related events”.
McDaniel runs the yearly “Secret City Film Festival” in Oak Ridge, TN and is a champion for local and independent cinema.
