Knoxville Films has been around for a few years and we’ve had a lot of fun with events like the Knoxville 24 Hour Film Festival and Cinematini Tuesdays. In this time of declining liberal arts budgets and removal of funding for arts education it’s time for us to get serious. Over the years we have built some name recognition at not only the regional but the state level. We can put that cache to good use to force the powers-that-be to pay attention to the serious need for educational funding for music, theater, graphic arts, photography and the many other artistic disciplines that make our lives complete. These are often the first and easiest budgetary line-items to get the axe.
Check out our new membership drive. It is free and easy. Together, we can show that the arts community is bigger than they think and is a voting block that they cannot ignore.
Please check out our membership page and join us to ensure that our children will have the opportunity to have the full and complete life that arts education has given us.

Thanks to everyone who has joined! We’ve had nearly a hundred people join in the first day alone. Nice to see people care about the arts!
