Synopsis:

The film centers around Jeremiah, a gallery assistant who receives a wrong number call from his college buddy Paul. Mistaking the call for an invitation back to Knoxville, Jeremiah heads to his old college town to indulge in some nostalgia. When he arrives, he finds that the town has changed. All of his old friends resent him for leaving while their lives have become stagnant. Jeremiah attempts to save their favorite bar from going under as a peace offering. When his plan fails he is forced to consider what is really important and whether or not these people are worth any risk.

The video we made was a bit ridiculous but we felt that we could at least entertain you with our pitch. And dont worry about Ben, our actor. He isn’t really tied up. He’s taped up. Just kidding, no actors were hurt in the making of the video and no actors will be hurt in the production of “Knoxville!” unless they are really asking for it. Like we said in the video the film will have a serious tone, with a lighter side. It’s about impulsiveness, naivety, failure, petty grudges and preserving ones past.

The film takes place in Knoxville Tennessee in real locations that we have already secured. We already have three killer principle actors: Clayton Myers as Jeremiah, Ben Hill as Paul, and Sara Eshleman as Lynn. Our crew is being handpicked and we are planning on bringing in the best equipment available.

While screening passes and seats are limited, we hope you will disperse the directions below to your friends, Facebook and Twitter followers as well as colleagues so that they can download FREE PASSES.

“Project X” follows three seemingly anonymous high school seniors as they attempt to finally make a name for themselves. Their idea is innocent enough: let’s throw a party that no one will forget… but nothing could prepare them for this party. Word spreads quickly as dreams are ruined, records are blemished and legends are born. “Project X” is a warning to parents and police everywhere.

Nima Nourizadeh makes his feature film debut directing a cast of newcomers who scored parts through a nationwide talent search. Todd Phillips (“The Hangover” films) produced the film, with Joel Silver, Scott Budnick, Andrew Rona, Alex Heineman and Marty P. Ewing executive producing. The screenplay was written by Matt Drake and Michael Bacall (“Scott Pilgrim vs. The World”), based on a story by Bacall.

“Project X” stars Thomas Mann, Oliver Cooper, Jonathan Daniel Brown, Dax Flame, Kirby Bliss Blanton, Brady Hender, Nick Nervies, Alexis Knapp and Miles Teller (“Footloose”).

The behind-the-scenes creative team includes cinematographer Ken Seng (“Step Up 3D”), production designer Bill Brzeski (“The Hangover” films, “Due Date”), editor Jeff Groth (TV’s “Entourage”), and costume designer Alison McCosh (assistant costume designer, “The Hangover” films).

Warner Bros. Pictures presents, a Silver Pictures production, in association with Green Hat Films, “Project X.”

As you can see, there are some fantastic short films that have been nominated for an Oscar this year. Unfortunately, seeing them all in a theater is rarely an option unless you are willing to hunt them down at film festivals across the world.
